Endocrine Society’s Endocrinology Month – Fellows Training Series

As part of the Endocrine Society’s (ES) Endocrinology month, ES wants to highlight the “Endocrine Procedures: Interpretation of DXA” Fellows Training Series activity.  The Endocrine Procedures activities were designed to aid program directors in helping assess fellows’ competence in endocrine procedures as a part of the new ABIM initial certification process. This tool includes a brief orientation to the reporting requirements of dual x-ray absorptiometry bone scans, followed by a series of case-based images from which fellows will write reports. The Interpretation of DXA Report Rubric for program directors is posted on the Program Director Resources page and a link to the Resources page is on your group’s Endocrine Society Center for Learning homepage.
