Vote Today: Revisions to APDEM Bylaws
APDEM’s Council is considering modifications to the APDEM Bylaws, which are designed to align the governing document with the current needs of APDEM members. As members of APDEM, you are asked to review the proposed changes and indicate your approval of the edits. Please review the APDEM Bylaws and submit your vote using the online form by Tuesday, September 27.

Share the APDEM Fellows’ Survey on All In Match
APDEM’s Council has been exploring the desirability of moving to an “all in” subspecialty Match via the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP.) APDEM has created an  anonymous survey  for current fellows to serve as proxies for fellowship candidates. Please share this feedback opportunity with your fellows and ask them to complete the one question survey by  Friday, September 16.

Get Involved: APDEM Mentorship
If you have three years of experience as a program director, we encourage you to volunteer to serve as a mentor for APDEM members who are new to the role. Email apdem@endocrine.org to share your interest.

Leadership opportunities: Endocrine Society Elections and ABIM BOD nominations
The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is  accepting nominations , including self-nominations, to serve on its Board of Directors. Nominations are being accepted until September 21 and questions may be directed to governanceservices@abim.org or 215-446-3614. Endocrine Society elections are ongoing; Society members are encouraged to  vote by October 2 .

The Endocrine Society‘s annual ESAP ITE is now part of a subscription based online training program, the new Fellows Training Series (FTS.) Get the best in self-assessment, plus many other online modules and webinars for the most comprehensive fellows education possible. Endocrine Skills Summit 2016 October 7-9, 2016: Chicago, IL
The Endocrine Skills Summit, endorsed by the American Association for Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), is an opportunity for in-training fellows and practicing endocrinologists to enhance their technological skills. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion for insulin pump and thyroid ultrasound training.

Complimentary Endocrine Society Membership for First Year Fellows
