APDEM Update — June, 2017

Match Policy Survey

Council would like to extend a thank you to all the program directors who expressed their match policy preference (the proposed All In policy vs. Status Quo) in our recently concluded survey.  Council is currently reviewing the results of the survey and preparing communications to send to all endocrinology fellowship programs.  While we continue to review the survey results, please feel free to reach out to APDEM staff (apdem@endocrine.org) or Dr. Christopher McCartney, Chair of the All In Working Group (CM2HQ@hscmail.mcc.virginia.edu) with any questions.  We look forward to sharing the survey results with you shortly.

APDEM Involvement and Volunteers

Looking to get the most out of your APDEM membership?  We have a variety of opportunities for program directors, assistant program directors, and program coordinators to get involved in the APDEM community.  Please fill out this brief survey and staff will work to match your interests and availability with the different ways members can participate in APDEM committees and initiatives.

Revised Draft of the APDEM Curriculum

We are pleased to announce that the revised draft APDEM Curriculum has been posted online for your review and use. Download the APDEM Curriculum today in our MemberConnect group under the Resources tab.  Please note you will need your login to do so (it is the same password you use to login to endocrine.org).  If you can’t remember your login, please update your password.  Please email apdem@endocrine.org with your observations, notes and ideas for future enhancements of this draft.
