Dr. McCarthy provides additional guidance on the Annual Program Evaluation (APE) meeting and report process – including establishing an agenda, selecting meeting attendees, and assuring a productive and efficient meeting – in his Program Director Corner article.

Resident Performance (RP)

Program Quality (PQ)
- PQ 1. Accreditation status
- PQ 2. Citations/areas of concern and major program changes
- PQ 3. Evaluation of faculty teaching & supervision through internal evaluation
- PQ 4. Patient safety and quality improvement involvement
- PQ 5. Evaluation of curriculum
Review of ACGME surveys (RAS)
- RAS 1. Evaluation of faculty teaching & supervision
- RAS 2. Compliance with duty hour and supervision requirements
