Before you begin please note the following:
1. Follow the process in the exact order below in order to import the forms as well as all of the tagged competencies and milestones
2. The patient evaluation is tagged to the milestones, but since the scales cannot be tagged to Dreyfus levels, the results will not inform any of the charts or milestone averages in MedHub (but can still be referenced by CCC).
3. Please note that the competencies are tagged to the reporting milestones (not the curricular milestones).
4. Please note that the Scholarship evaluation is broken into individual forms. The delivery of these evaluation forms can often be automated in MedHub, so it makes sense to limit the response to an individual event/experience.
Ready to Begin
Step 1: Enable Milestones functionality and basic setup
(a) Enable the “Milestones” functionality in Program Settings. We also recommend using the “Repeat Scales on Consecutive Questions” setting.
(b) Click on the new “Milestone Management” link on homepage.
(c) Click the “Import/Update Milestones” button and import the package named “Internal Medicine Subspecialty”. You should now see 24 reporting milestones listed.
Step 2: Import Evaluations
(a) Navigate to the “Evaluations” page and click the “New Evaluation Form” button.
(b) Click the “Copy from another institution” tab.
(c) Perform a search with “APDEM” in the evaluation title box and the milestones filter set to “Yes”.
(d) You should see the following forms listed. Click the “Copy Form” button for each to import the form. The forms will be in “Draft” status, so you can make changes (if necessary) before delivery.
